what is the theme of your wedding-??what is your budget-?? can you afford a lavish thank you gift-??or will something simple due-??does the thank you gift really concern you-??if you answered yes-to the last question-go head a splurge alittle-for instance maybe-a small chocolate fondue set, Swedish chocolates gift wrapped w/names of guests in gold writing on the tag, Godiva heart-shaped individual chocolate candy bars, a hot chocolate gift set, or a kangaroo plush size animal w/chocolate candies in its pouch and ect. GOOD-LUCK

Make it something snow themed: like a glass or crystal snowflake Christmas ornament, chocolate in the shape of a snowflake, etc. Good luck and congratulations!

I'm from Lisbon - Portugal, and my husband is from Madeira Island - Portugal. Our wedding was in Madeira Island and our thank you gift was mini bottles of typical Madeira Wine. Maybe there is a typical swedish drink you could use in your gifts? For more ideas, I suggest you look into favor store sites or this photo gallery:http://www.ideas-for-a-wedding.com/en/ideas/favors/

if most people are coming from out of town I would have welcome bags/baskets at the hotel for them. this can be in addition to gifts at the reception or in replacement.

I am thinking you are talking about favors (if not, sorry). But I would either give them something that goes with your wedding theme, or something Swedish.

Instead of giving your guests a gift, make a donation to a world wide charity in their name.
