| Get somethng memorable. Hallmark says something silly like paper.My hub bought me a beautiful necklace with our wedding date engraved on it. I gave him a day at a spa-- something he totally needed to relax and regerate. He loved it. I got him a massage, a man facial with a old fashioned shave, and a haircut. |

| Traditionally it should be paper. Of course you don't HAVE to follow that but trust me...after so many years it's really helpful to have a springboard!*Concert Tickets (or any ticket to an event I got mine football for him and the boys)*Romantic dinner served on paper plates*Coupons for things like back rubs, washing his car, more intimate things?*This might be more of a chick gift but my HTB got me a really nice journal with blank pages. On the first few he wrote me a love note including all his memories of the first year and how great it had been. Then he wrote a promise: On each anniversary we write each other love letters. Neither of us are writers so this is harder than you think and really causes us to remind ourselves of how lucky we are to have each other and put effort towards our gifts. Whenever we have a fight we have to write the other person 5 reasons why we love them.After it's filled I will have a great keepsake and I have to admit when I get mad at him or have a bad day it really helps to have a visual thing I can go to for comfort. |
