Send a card stating that there has been a change, include the new address and apologize for any inconvenience. A follow-up phone call would reassure them that you truly want them to attend and assure you that they received the card.

i would print something pretty on your computer and mail it out.classier than call or email.try and match your font and color and buy some stationary to print on.just have your names really big and fancy across the top and a short note saying that there has been a change to the location of the reception.the reception will know be held at xxx at xxx time.

As a wedding planner, I would suggest you just send out of simple note explaining the change in the venue. I would also apologize for the inconvenience.Hope that helps,Debwww.foryouecc.com

If there is enough time, mail a notification. Don't go through the expense of new inviations. If time is short, get a telephone tree going. Get the wedding party and yourself all phing people with the change of venue.A girlfriend had the church burn down only a couple weeks before her wedding. Phoning worked beautifully.

Definately do not simply send out an email or trust word of mouth. Type up on your computer a short yet pretty note (preferably using the same colours as ur origional invite) letting them know of the change of venue. If possible explain why it has changed and apologise for the inconvience. At the end, remember to write something like 'thank you for your understanding in this matter. We look forward to sharing our special day with you.'Ring your guest a few days after they recieve the note to ensure all is understood. Also, reconfim a week or so before the wedding.Congrats and good luck

i think you need to send a new invitation and if possible have a friend or friend of the family at the old address just in case people show up there... make the time a little later at the new location to accomodate those who show up at the old one on time..
