| A small boquet or what? I dont really like the looks of those little things that they wear on their wrists. My maid of honor told me that she only wants to carry one rose, not a few. What have you seen or done? If you have been a bridesmaid, what do you prefer and why? |

| In my wedding I carried 2 dozen roses (mainly red with some coral pink) with white stephanotis, my bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets of roses, mainly coral pink with some red (opposite mine), i prefer the look of small bouquets rather than single flowers. |

YOUR MAID/MATRON OF HONOR WILL BE DIFFERENT & SPECIAL THAN THE OTHERS. BE CREATIVE! YOUR WEDDING DAY IS AS INDIVIDUAL AS YOU ARE. YOUR BOQUET WILL BE THE LARGEST & MOST BEAUTIFUL. YOUR GIRLS WILL BE DOWNSIZED. YES ALL WOMEN SHOULD CARRY SOMETHING BUT BRIDESMAIDS WILL BE A SMALLER VERSION OF YOU & YOUR MAID/MATRON OF HONOR. HERES AN IDEA: INSTEAD OF THEM WALKING IN WITH FLOWERS, HAVE THE BRIDESGROOMS MEN BRING THE FLOWERS TO THEM. GOOD LUCK & GOD BLESS YOU IN YOUR UPCOMING LIFE WITH YOUR NEW HUSBAND. |

| Bridesmaids usually carry a small bouquet. I have only seen one bridal party online that had pomanders (the flower ball held from the wrist) and they looked odd to me. I hate wrist corsages too since they almost never stay on no matter how tight you fasten the ribbon and then you fidget with your hands if you're nervous since you don't have anything to hold. |

| My friend had her bridesmaids carry 3-4 long stemmed roses but they lay against their arm..not in a bouquet. |

| I think the single rose is a good idea. I never seen it done, but it sounds lovely. |

| Most bridesmaids carry either a small bouquet or a single flower. My favorite is a small bouquet (which is what I and most brides do), but I've seen a lot of single flowers too (I think Calla Lilies look best for single flowers). Normally it is the mothers that have the wrist corsage and the men who have the boutonnieres. |

| a well assembled bouquet is very easy to carry... a single flower can look sloppy... talk to your florist about what you want and what your budget is.. if your flower budget is minimal ask if your grocery stores floral dept does weddings.. most of the ones here in NJ do..corsages are the wrist things... they are for prom but are sometimes given to the ladies of the bride and groom's families who are not bridesmaids (mother of the bride and groom, grandmothers, close aunts, sisters who are not bridesmaids, stepmothers) |

| I'm getting married in March and will have my girls carry baby's breath bouquets or a few long stem calla lilies tied with ribbon. |

| My daughters bridesmaids carried candles from a craft store. The candle holder had silk flowers and when the bridesmaids got to the end of the aisle, the groomsman lit the candle. When my daughter got to the altar all of the candles were lit. Very nice effect. |
