Hi friends,I'm visiting Malaysia on a honeymoon trip. From what I've read about Taman Negara on the net, I'm pretty interested about it and will probably be there for a couple of days in December (5/6). My only concern is if this is a good plan considering that my would-be wife is not used to hectic travels.I'd appreciate your opinion on the following:1. Travel from/to KL - how hectic will it be?2. Activities in TN - What level of fitness is required?3. Comfort - Will it be too hot and humid? What are the chances of rainfall and how bad does it get when it rains there? Thanks to all for your help.

- It'll be fine travel to there from KL.- You need a healthy body for the activities, a body which ables to hike and walk. Not very suitable for those who felt tired after a short walk.- It's been raining at Malaysia these few weeks, but I think it'll be fine, another good view and feeling at Taman Negara. You can see some rare plants which grows after rain too. In forest, you won't feel hot, protected by the tall trees, you will be cool.

Hmm..its actually pretty interesting to have your honeymoon in a n exotic places like Taman Negara..referring to your statement up there, your future wife might not get excited to have a hectic way of travelling coz travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Taman Negara will get you both exhausted coz from KL you either get a cab to get you to Kuala Tembeling (1st point- Jetty ) then you will get on a boat to go to Taman Negara (better pack lightly coz you dont want to get backache during your honeymoon!)..then when arrive in Taman Negara..you got to walk up a bit to go the resort. So i think both you and your future wife need to be fit enough to all the walking around there and do stuff. And the weather is unpredictable coz its a monsoon season in December. So, being stucked in the rain all time might ruin your mood..How if i suggest, if you still wants to spend your honeymoon in jungle..why dont you go to Langkawi and stay at The Datai or The Andaman. http://www.ghmhotels.com/hotels/hotel_home.asp?hotelid=2§ion=homeThe nature surrounding at the resort are amazing and you could even get to enjoy the beautiful beach too!.. getting to Langkawi also a breeze coz there are airlines like Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia which flies frequently to Langkawi.the Malaysia Airlines also have package that inclusive of Accommodation, Flights, Breakfast and hotel transfer. http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/getdoc/ec6efab9-ae79-4b68-8ef2-558631c09b25/Santai.aspx look under 'Golden Holidays'perhaps your future wife will enjoy this better coz it wont exhaust her at the end of the day..Hope this will help..happy travelling!
