| on photos the photographer has done in the past? Would you like a more versitile photographer (shoots outdoors, on location etc..) or one who does more classic, indoor studio portraits? |

| I would base my opinion on prhotos, not certification. I am an amatuer photographer and I have had lots of people tell me I am better then pros. |

| Judge based on their work and photographer's personality. Be sure that you meet the prospective photographer. Can you picture yourself working with him/her? That's the most important thing. |

| I would be pick based on previous work and depending on what I was looking for, I would look for the same things. If I wanted a traditional posed indoor shoot, I would look at that work and if it was event photography, I would look at a larger variety of things and pay attention to the more unique shots. |

| Certificate is OK. Art it is inspiration, creative and daring etc...If you like their work and they are pleasant and fell right to you, I would say go for it.I spoke as ex-freelance photographer, start as hobby, I make more money these days from my photograph works than back in freelance day, and lots of them. |
