| I love photography and really want to do more with it. Currently I have been using picnik, but I would like something with ALOT more options and tools. I've been asking for Photoshop for christmas, but just want to know what your opinions are of that, or if you know of any better ones I could buy |

| Either Photoshop or Fireworks would be the best, probably. |

| We do all of our professional jobs using Photoshop CS2. It is the best program, the one most used by the Pros (Our Photography business has been open since 1980). |

| Adobe Photoshop CS3 is best, but the price man..... O_O; for some reason it feels like im buying an appliance or something when i think about getting photoshop. |

| Photoshop is pretty much the industry standard. It is a good, robust application, but can take a little while to learn (let alone master). The good news is that there are a large number of books that will help make learning the intricacies of Photoshop easier. Make sure if you're a student that you get the educational discount when purchasing it as this will shave quite a bit off the price.Cheap software (or free) isn't as robust but a few good options are: GIMP, Photoshop Elements, Jasc Paint Shop Pro. |

| i have both photoshop cs2 plus psp8. i'd say it's very good if u can use it well. |

| Yes..I HIGHLY recommend Photoshop! I didn't really want to pay that much money for software (I think it was around $75) but trust me--it's worth it.You can do so much with it. I've had it for almost a year and there's still tons I haven't discovered yet with it. I would also recommend downloading Google's Picasa (it's free). You can edit photos on there too but I mainly use it to keep them organized. |

| Photoshop is the undustry benchmark for photo editing/manipulation. There is no 'better' option but there are similar programs. Personally, I'd rather stick with Photoshop due to the fact that it's considered the best by the pros and there's nothing I haven't been able to do with it.For more tutorials in Photoshop, see this website http://www.impakcreative.com |
