| For me the best is Photoshop. With Photoshop you can do virtually anything with your pictures. It's expensive but worth it! I hear the Photoshop Elements is pretty good too and a lot less expensive......You can download either or Photoshop CS2 for a free trial.Also you can upload and edit your pics at Shutterfly, free and the editing software that you can download with it is actually pretty good! |

| The "experts" don't generally use the free ones, but the ones they do use like adobe photoshop often have a demo/trial version you can evaluate. I'd read up some too before you buy...like in pcphoto, they should have some good articles. |
