Davids bridal has them and you can usually buy the ones of the rack for a cheaper price than when you order them. Good luck!!!

You can do a quick google search for maternity bridesmaids dresses or look on David's Bridal, they have several options.

Okay, you are ranting and not writing very clearly so I am having a hard time understanding what you are asking....I think you need new bridesmaid dresses. Have you tried David's Bridal? They stock a lot and they do have maternity dresses.

If she does the rush delivery, it should be earlier than 8 weeks but even if it takes 8 weeks to come in, they can put a rush on the alterations and have those done in 24-48 hours. Don't worry it will be ready in time and tell you mother that everything is under control.

Wow! I am so sorry for you! Let's see, you may have to shell out some more money for a maternity dress in another store, OR, take the dress that your bridesmaid already has, to a different alteration place and see if they can add some material to the dress and let it out...I really hope it works out for you! I also hope she doesn't go into labor on your wedding day

If the dress shop is paying for these new dresses AND the express shipping, then go for it! It won't take 8 weeks to arrive with express shipping, and bridesmaid alterations don't need to take a week either. Just call the shop and say "place the order NOW."But, if the shop expects you to pay for the dresses, then I would have another seamstress look at the dress. Why can't it be altered? If they have the fabric (which you can order), they should be able to alter it.

Well they should be paying for the next dress and alterations they knew the girls were pregnant and they should have ordered the propper size and xtra material. As for your mother tell her to jump in a lake. I would tell the dress company that if they do not have it here in 4 weeks that you willl personally make sure that no on ever comes in that store again. And I would raise hell in front of soooooo many customers.

whoa there bridezilla! find some back up dresses that the preggos can/will wear and buy them. leave the tags on so that they can be returned if necessary. if you run out of time, they'll have a dress, and you can deal with the dress shop people for a refund or whatever after the wedding.

The lady in the shop actually IS doing you an unusually generous favor! How could she know just how big your girls are getting to be. Every woman carries differently. At 9 months, I looked like I swallowed a walnut for my second while for my first I was an elephant by 5 months! However, if you look at styles out in every store this year, even a normal party dress will suit maternity. Halle Berry was on Oprah wearing a "normal" dress in her th month and JLo looked fabulous even in her 8th month carrying twins. My cousin was 8. months at her sister's wedding and just wore an Empire style dress. Gads - a wedding is full of friends and family so it is not like people don't know the girls are pregnant. Just think - you wil look like a skinny model beside them!

I think that it is pretty good of them sending you new dresses for no charge - she only made the dresses to have based on who you asked for.As for nice maternal dresses... hmmm... a tough one. What about something like this:http://www.johnlewis.com/12661/Product.aspxorhttp://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10001_61856_557077_-1Just buy it in the largest size and get a tailor to sort it out based on them being heavily pregnant at the wedding. You never know - she might drop the baby early...

Relax and breathe..................................................Now, the shop owner claims she can order the dress and have it in 8 weeks? If that is correct, then you really don't have a problem. There isn't much required in the way of alterations on a maternity gown, so as long as it fits the gal over her shoulders and chest, then you have nothing to worry about. If she is offering to order the maternity gown for no additional charge, then by all means take her up on that offer. If the assumption indicated above is not correct, then you should check with a David's Bridal to see if they have a maternity gown available for your friend. They generally keep a stock or can get one very quickly. Otherwise, Eden Bridals has an in-stock bridesmaid gown program with one or two maternity options. The dresses can be delivered to you within a week. The last option is to simply visit a maternity shop and purchase a gown from them. Modern Maternity (or Motherhood, I believe) carry a few formal gowns or can order them for you within a few days.Best wishes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
