| OKay..............as you all know..........I wear a purity ring...But everytime i'm at the gym these guys come up to me and ask if i'm married................i mean gah........how do I get to not mistake me purity ring for a wedding band??? |

| Make it small and petite and undecorative- A purity ring can have a cross on it also (not many wedding rings will entail that)- Good for you hun!Plus if they are asking if you are married - Its great oppurtunity to share what it is meant for. You're saving yourself for someone |

| Well purity rings are very similar to wedding bands... so it's a common mistake because most people don't know what they are. |

| Obviously you wear it on your wedding ring finger, so this will always happen. Change fingers or expect that people will always assume that it means you are married. |

| aren't they just being silly and don't really think you are married.I think they are just very curious about your purity and ring and want you to talk about it. I might add that I think it's so awesome that you are wearing it and proud to be wearing it and not ashamed. Good for you! |

| If they're the same people, they're probably just trying to bust your chops and get you really annoyed at them. They know what it's for. Otherwise, you can wear one with a cross on it, or get one that plain and simple. Don't get another smaller one. The point of the ring is to SHOW that you are saving yourself for someone special, NOT keeping it hidden away. Let people see it, and if they ask you what it's for, tell them that it's for practicing abstinence. That's an awesome thing to have, let me tell you. |

| My son and his girlfriend also wear celibacy rings. They have been dating for two years now and they want to wait for college to be over and for marriage. His problem was a little worse- he had girls- one was even 22 years old doing everthing they could just to try to get him to DO IT! They were killing each other to be the first to get him to cave in! That just blew my mind! And his! he is still hanging on until after college and marriage! This is a good thing Not a bad thing. They KNOW its a purity ring- they r just being silly guys! |
