Our wedding song was Keeper of the Stars by Tracy Bryd.http://youtube.com/watch?v=vJSR29XjGyQYou can have the groom walk to anything you want to. Even you can walk to anything you want to. I didn't walk to anything traditional.

You can play one during the interlude, or even have a close friend or family member sing it (in the middle of the ceremony) and use one as the recessional (when you leave the church). I wouldn't use that Dixie Chicks song though, isn't that about the solider dying and the girl is left alone? Not much of a wedding song.

I'm walking down the aisle to "Making Memories of Us" and having a bunch of contry music for the cermony. Since the church is fine with it, you can do it your way.

I walked down to Gary Allan's "I can love you." We did the Keith Urban song during the candle lighting. I would say that as long as the church is ok with it, do what you want. Be aware of how long the songs are though. That "Memories" song is so long we were just standing there.

Use songs that mean something to you and your future husband. We used "You'll Be in My Heart" when the bridal party walked in (my husband wanted it in the wedding and I saw the Tarzan production in Florida with four of the people in our party the year before) two Steve Green songs (Find Us Faithful and Cherish The Treasure) and the love theme from St Elmo's Fire (my favorite movie and I saw it suggested on a site for wedding songs) our "first dance" was to Lionel Ritchie's "Stuck on You" and it still applies almost five years later. Go with what works for you.
