A girl called and asked me if I would do her wedding photography for her in a couple months. I'm practically done with my photography school (already learned the wedding section) but I'm definitely a beginner when it comes to weddings. What would be a good hourly rate for my time, and what would be a good rate per picture?

I would say $100 per hour for your time plus actual costs times 1.25.

This answer will depend on where you live, and if the area is competitive or not. Someone in LA will charge like 5 times what someone where I live does. Best thing is to do a search on Google or Yahoo maps for wedding photographers in your area. Rate their quality and experience and go from there. Don't sell yourself to short, but not too high since this is your first time. Good luck, and welcome to the team
