I need information on charming yet not pricey places to hold a reception in Frederick County, Maryland. Not wedding ceremony. Number of guests under 80, With/without food, No lodging requiredI've tried the yahoo/google search, but found no suitable locations. Charming inns ok, parks ok, firehalls not ok.

We're getting married at Martin's Crosswinds in Greenbelt and I believe they have a location in Frederick County too.... it's great. The dj, cake, food, and open bar are all included :Dhttp://www.martinscaterers.com/Also check out www.theknot.comThey list every type of vendor imaginable for any area. They have regional magazines as well.

You could check with Hood College to see if they rent out rooms for this. It's a very charming campus with a beautiful courtyard area with wisteria.
