I just started working at a new place and am attracted to a co-worker of mine. We have a lot in common and we recently became friends. we chat online during work and have even chatted at home. We stayed online for 3.5 hrs. the other night and it seemed like he didn't want to stop, even though it was 5 a.m. He recently asked me out to lunch and I went, but only then did he bring up a "fiance". Why did he wait so long? By his actions, I thought he was single. I asked him about his wedding online and he abruptly ended the conversation. Now, he won't talk to me nor message me, but I'm not doing anything either. I AM attracted to him, but I am married (unhappily) and I don't want to jeopardize his relationship either. I still want to be friends with him. Should I initiate a conversation just to relieve this awkwardness we're in or just remain how I am? Did he want anything from me?

I would leave it alone. Who knows how far he would have taken things. Then if a relationship would have started between the two of you, he would probably have outside "friends". He seems like bad news.

You are married and he is engaged, AND he is your coworker. There is NOTHING good that will come out of this relationship!!!It's too weird now to be friends. Settle for water-cooler acquaintance. If he asks why the cold shoulder, explain that out of respect for your husband and his fiance you prefer to keep things business-like.

look you are married, and have NO business chasing this man, I don't care how unhappy you are. That is NOT right, of course you would be in an unhappy marriage with your behavior, I'm sure this isn't the first time. Go and get yourself a divorce, and this guy obviously is not interested in you, he probably thinks you are a skank for being married and you chasing him. If you want a man to be interested in you, get yourself DIVORCED.

Unhappy or not you are married. You should not be caring on with any body else but your husband. Fix what you have or end your marriage. Then you can pursue another relationship.

Don't get anymore involved than you already are. Like everyone else said, you are MARRIED! Have respect for your husband, and have respect for your co-worker's fiance. Just stay away from him completely. Or even better, get a new job. You just started working at this place, it shouldn't be too hard to find something new. Good luck.
