| Better to keep the illusion of talks going than giving up entirely. China and India just announced that they refuse to consider any limits that hurt economic growth. The US has no obligation to do anything more. |

| All we really have to do is what the other countries are doing.Make outlandish laws and regulations that will never be implemented or adhered to (they are all 10 years away from even being enforced) and just play the game.Contrary to popular opinion, Global Warming being a considerable man-made cause is not hardly scientific fact so I don't understand why so many people are clamoring about like it is a scientific fact. I undrestand why politico's are doing it, its gets votes and makes them feel important. |

The problem for those of us who live outside the US but love your country is that you are increasingly being isolated and losing the respect of the rest of the world. As an example today's copy of The Independent carried a headline on the front page saying 'The world can't wait for George Bush.'Before you withdraw into isolationism just look at your current account deficit and how the once mighty dollar is worth half of what it should be.Nearly every developed country is already implementing measures to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide and methane and has target s. All we ask is the US does the same. But I am convinced that anything the US says will now be ignored and resentment against your pollution will increase. |

| Yes we should, but you know we wont, especially if some of the left-wing lunatics get in next year. So what can we do?? We know its a fake, just as the 'ozone hole' was, but just like it we accepted the outrageous price of the 'fix' and that I fear is what we will do again. Screwed either way. |

| We should stop funding the UN. Boycott any global warming conferences. We should just come up with our own solutions for our own country and not let these greedy, jealousy, anti-american thugs dictate what we should do. Just close the UN office in New York and tell them it is closed until further notice. When the money runs out they'll start kissing up to us again. They expect America to pay for everything, because America is so rich. But no matter how much we give it is never enough and they still hate us. Well, stop giving them anything and see how long they last. Then they can come back and start begging for money in a more respectful tone. |
