| First of all a friend of mine (Steve) was talking to her (Beth) friend (Kate), which I didn't like because he's well....sleazy. So Kate brings it up and we talk about it. Eventually she's mad at me for being trying to keep a sleazy guy away from Beth and I have to explain that I'm not interested in Kate. Well the night goes on and words are said, Steve keeps talking to Kate even though she's obviously not interested. Anyway it all explodes and Kate tries to get away and starts to me. She tells me how fake Steve is, I say she's right about it. Eventually we figure we both have an interest in photography and I say we should meet up and go out on a shoot. At this point I'm interested in Kate. Anyway everyone leaves the bar and I call Beth to make sure everyone got home alright and mention I like her friend Kate to which she replys "You're to mental to date MY friend". Is this girl Beth just no wanting anyone to hook up with friends, sleazy or nice? Beth always said I'm a good guy.Steve is sleazy and was trying to take advantage of her friend, but I didn't really have any interest until I talked to her a bit. Basically is Beth trying to keep EVERYONE away from her friends. Beth is a bit overweight and rarely gets dates, personally I think she's pretty just to much of a friend. Could this affect things, like friend gets attention and jealousy kicks in. I know with Steve it was protecting her from a scumbag with a reputation, but I don't have a rep and am known for being a decent guy. Seriously what's going on here. |
