our honeymoon was over forty years ago, we spent time in a cabin the the woods, with no one else around us. it was wonderful, and no one disappointed anyone. i was nervous and shy, he was patient and sweet and everything worked the way it was supposed to! forty years later we are still happy together and every once in a while we head back to that little cabin for a wonderful weekend of 'reminiscing'.

Our honeymoon was awful. Our wedding night was a great disappointment. We got through it and we are happy together 24 years later. Don't expect a magical event and you won't be disappointed. Take it as it comes and don't stress yourself out trying to make it perfect.

It was my favorite part of the wedding! The honeymoon was so relaxing and so fun! We both work full-time and we have 2 children and did when we got married last February... so getting away was just wonderful!

It was the best. All the stress of the wedding was gone. We were able to relax and be alone.

the first 3 days of our honey moon sucked. we were at a beach resort and it rained and stormed like there was a hurricane out side. the place we stayed at was wayyy over priced and the food wasnt the greatest. so we cashed out and went to a cabin in the woods thats when it got good. the next 5 days was the best honeymoon any one could ever ask for.

NOT, Inexperience is most often responsible for the lack of magic, no one teach us how to be good lovers, we mumble along, girls pretending and boys feeling self satisfied, eventually if we are lucky that special person comes along and a magical door opens. I BELIEVE THAT YOUR FIRST SEXUAL EXPERIENCE WILL VERY MUCH RESEMBLE YOUR BIRTH EXPERIENCE

Haha. Well, since i'm currently unmarried and haven't had my honeymoon yet, I can't give my own experience. But when i plan a couple's wedding I always like to hear from them by email or phone when they return from their honeymoon. One couple called me and said that their trip to St. Marten was amazing. They are both attorneys and usually have no time to relax. They spend almost the entire week in bed watching t.v. catching up on old shows and relaxing with the doors open to let in the ocean breeze. Only went sight seeing one day and they said it was the best time of their life.I guess the point here is that the honeymoon is for you to gently slip into married life and starting that off by hectic sightseeing and cranky tourists isn't always the only way to go.

My wedding night was magical, and it was followed by a magical honeymoon. We stopped having sex for two weeks before the wedding. Let me tell you, I saw stars on my wedding night!
