i need help with wording my wed invites. My hub to be and i are both 18 years old we both grew up together (he lived next door) we even have the same b-day we have been going out all our life neither of us have been with any other people. can you help me word my invitations my parents passed away march 15, 07 so they are not hosting our wedding

feel free to mention your late parents on the inviteMary Sue Johnson, daughter of the late Benjamin and Sara Johnson and her fiance Bob Jones invite you to celebrate their wedding blah blah blah..or you can mention his parents too.. its pretty standard on most young marriage invites..sorry for your loss

there are some sections on invitatio websites that say bride and groom hosting and they are worded differently than the traditional "mr and mrs blah blah are pleased to announce the wedding of their daugher..." http://www.invitesgalore.com/wedding-invitation-wording-3.htm

Still use the traditional wording. It doesn't matter who is hosting the wedding, you would still include parents names, just to say the relationship - for example,Jane Linda, daughter of the late Frank and Helen Doe,andMichael Fred,son of Henry and Susan White...
