Okay, I am a complete bafoon when it comes to all this, never did it before and I really haven't been to too many weddings so I need HELP!! My boyfriend just proposed to me on Sunday night (the eve of our 1 year anniversary) so he is now my fiance!! And as excited as we both are we're not really sure what to do as far as the planning goes, or how much it is all going to cost. We were told by a few people that the first thing to do was make a list of guests and then find a hall, the list is made, we are inviting 100 people, and we are going to check out a hall on Saturday (saw pics on their website and I like a few of their rooms). Thing is I have no idea what happens next, or how much each thing should cost. Plus I was wondering, do I pick out the bridesmaids dresses and then the best man has to wear those colors in his vest? DUH, I know but I am really clueless. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Only serious help please. Thanks for much.Oh, am I silly or what?! The date we picked is March 21, 2009. Don't know if that really changes the pricing. Was told by a friend that it might be cheaper than having it in the summer.
