My boyfriends brother is getting married in 2 weeks, The wedding starts at 6pm and reception is in the same place...it is not a church wedding but is indoors. On the invitations they have not specified the dress code. I have found a dress that I am wanting to wear to it, my boyfriends mother has said it's beautiful and appropriate to wear, I'm guessing that they don't really care what people wear aslong as they look respectable. I am going to link it for people to look at and give me your honest opinion, I plan to call the bride tomorrow and just double check that i will still fit in and not be to over or under dressed and I am not planning on using accessories with it.Thanks to everyone that replies.http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NEW-Beaded-Satin-Lace-Evening-Gown-Black-Size-16-18_W0QQitemZ360024738472QQihZ023QQcategoryZ55574QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

It is appropriate. It could be worn to either a formal or informal reception. Perfect really. Relax and enjoy the wedding!

It looks very pretty, and very appropriate for an evening wedding. I'd be a little worried about your back getting chilly if you live somewhere cold, but as long as you have a shawl or dressy jacket to wear to and from, you should be fine.

that looks fine! as long as your attire isn't competing with the bride, really anything goes. It's beautiful. Little black dresses always go.

That dress is elegant and perfect for any wedding...I highly recommend you wear it, with the one exception being that the bride says they are doing an informal "wedding in the backyard" and then you should still wear it. Remember you are trying to tell the bride who will be decked out that she and her husband are important are you and you treat her with the respect she deserves.http://navillus99.blogspot.com

I personally think the beading looks really cheap and cheapens the dress. I think a basic semi formal dress is a good idea though. I prefer something like this, though.http://www.whitehouseblackmarket.com/store/browse/product.jsp?colorFamily=&productId=300110243&subCatId=&catId=cat210002&fromSearch=&inSeam=

I think it is very pretty. Don't forget some sort of wrap or shawl to wear in case you get chilly.

OMG!! What an absolutely magnificent frock. It is the epitomy of class and elegance. It is gorgeous, my dear, just gorgeous. I have to agree with your boyfriend's mother, and I am sure you will look just fabulous. You cannot go wrong with black, for an evening wedding. And, that plunging neckline! Whew! It makes my heart palpitate just looking at it, and imagining a beautiful woman filling it out. And, the low back (I am sure you found a backless brassierre or perhaps a corsette for the dress)!! What a fabulous style. Why not accessorize a bit? A dangling necklace to draw the eye to your cleavage might be just marvelous. All I can say is: Woooofff!!!!

I was married a year and half a go. And honestly I couldn't tell you who was wearing what except my bridal party. Even looking back at pictures I don't look at somebodies outfit. The bride and groom are so consumed with love and nerves that they won't notice. But since you asked I will answer!!! I think it is stunning. It is perfect if it is a formal wedding which most evening weddings are so I would say you are fine to wear that. And it is even a great price for a dress. Good luck.
