I'm not sure on the sationary it really depends on the different types. Try googling wedding stationary and seeing what all sites they have.On the books. I've googled wedding timeline and that gives you a better idea of how to break things down. You could also try Amazon.com for some books. Good Luck |

| When choosing your wedding stationery you don't need to have everything on offer! Just having invitations is possible. If you wanted it all you would have - save the date cards - these are sent before the invitations, useful if you are having a wedding abroad and want people to come with you, but they are not necessaryinvites rsvp - an additional expense you don't need to have - everyone is capable of writing a reply as a letterprograms - helpful for during the ceremonythank you cards - not necessary as again a thank you letter will be just as nice. For more wedding ideas follow the link |

| Whatever you ultimately choose, make sure your choices are guided by etiquette authorities like Emily Post and Miss Manners. If you listen to the printer (or any other advisor associated with The Wedding Industry) they will have you spending your last nickel to buy things you could have done very well without. Nobody I know had even HEARD of wedding programs way back in the 1970s. Same for those save the date gizmos. And we sure didn't waste the cost of printing and putting stamps on those annoying little RSVP cards. How are you (or your helpers) going to tell people how dressed up to get, how to get to the church, what kind of refreshments and entertainment will be offered, whether they should bring their kids, and WHAT SORT OF GIFT YOU'D LIKE -- if you send them some cutesy poo overpriced little pre-stamped card instead of putting your phone number next to the RSVP on the invitation? This is the only stataionery you really NEEDInvitations and envelopes. If the size of the ceremony and party are different, then you will want either ceremony cards or reception cards -- you omit the cards for those invited to only one but not the other. Blanks to write your place cards if you're having a seated dinner. Formal or informal note cards (blank -- no preprinted messages) and envelopes for your prompt thank you notes. |
