Any brides out there firming up the flab before the big day? Seems like the popular thing to do. I have some great cardio exercises that are helping me burn some calories and keep my heart rate up, but I need some resistance/toning regimes for my arms, back and legs... What are you gals doing to prepare for the big day, and the honeymoon bikinis?

I haven't been to the gym in a couple of months but I do plan on starting in April and going twice a week up until my date in August. I don't need to lose any weight but I do want to firm everything up beforehand. I just ordered my bikini and when it arrives I think it will definitely get me motivated!

Fiance just bought gym memberships for both of us but I'm having a hard time getting motivated to go right now. For resistance, why don't you buy a Pilates DVD?

I get up in the mornings, and work out with Gilad, and Cathe Fredrich on the fit channel, I also do my StairMaster twice a day, and lift weights. I have been doing this for years, but since we started planning the wedding my workout got more intense.

I am taking kajukenbo. It's a form of martial arts. I've lost 10lbs and one jean size, and I feel like I kick butt. All of the punching and kicking has totally toned my arms and legs up.

WAA! Dont remind me! I get married in May and have been putting it to the back of my mind. I do want to tone up and lose weight for the honeymoon, but I enjoy chocolate too much. Guilt guilt guilt. When I get round to it, I will be doing a varied routine, swimming, yoga, pilates, cardio and boxercise. I dont want my body to get used to one style so will be trying to mix it up as much as I can.

I joined California Family Fitness about a week ago and I go do cardio 3 days a week and then I do all the other weight machines 4 days a week. I also run/walk my dogs as often as I can.I'm pretty thin as it is (110 lbs) so not really doing this for weight loss, but I want to tone up my butt and my whole body. My fiancé says it's working! I'm also going to start tanning about two months before my wedding so I look like a little celebrity in that wedding dress! woo! I've also been doing facials and stuff for my skin.
