| The bigger the number is, the smaller the diaphragm aperture will be; meaning, the less light that can enter... This means that when you have a lot of light you're going to need bigger numbers (small aperture). So f11 is your right answer. |

| It depends. There is more to it than just controlling the light. You must also decide what depth of field you want(shallow or deep), what shutter speed is required(freeze action or motion blurred).f/1.8 lets in more light, while f/11 lets in less light. |
