| Im organising my friends wedding for her and she wants her theme to be ivory. I suggested it would look better if she added a colour to it, liven it up a bit (ie favor boxes and decorations for reception). Now I thought either baby blue or champagne kinda colour but would love to hear other peoples opinions. What colour do you think goes best with ivory?Also, can anyone add links to show me the colour? Thanks! |

| Ivory is a warm white. So it goes with virtually EVERY color. Here are my suggestions based on season:Ivory and...spring - light greensummer - butter yellowhttp://marthastewartweddings.com/article/perfect-palettes-yellow-and-whitefall - a milk chocolate brownwinter - ice blueI'm assuming by her choice of ivory as her main color that she's not all that daring. So I would keep it in the light color family. |

| I think that ivory will be pretty. It would be extra nice to have red roses as decoration! Also a dark chocolaty brown would be lovely! |

| I think that you could do all ivory which is very classy with either an accent color of gold or silver. Gold is classic- Silver is hot this year. |

| Black and Ivory with a specific flower...I had red roses...I loved my wedding colors. Brides maids wore elegant black dresses that they all wore again after my wedding. The red roses popped out and the ivory will soften everything. my wedding cake was white with tiny black dots on it with Red roses adorning the top and edges of the cake. |

| I like tone on tone, so I like your idea of champagne. Her dress could be ivory and the bridesmaids could be champagne. The linens could be ivory, but you could have a champagne table runner or overlay. Sounds very elegant. |

| Champagne is IVORY. I think chocolate brown goes best with IVORY. And you can go all shades of brown too, taupe, mocha, chocolate, etc.And if you want a little dab of PINK or HOT PINK.I don't like baby blue at all. Too babyish. I love IVORY. I hope her gown will be IVORY too. |

| I know its modern but i like black n ivory for an evening wedding, maybe a lil soft pink as accent color too. |
