You don't say whether or not the new husbands name is listed on the invite. I think that if his name is listed and yours isn't, you have every right to be hurt by this. However, if neither parents are listed then what can you do? You gave her what you could reasonably afford to give and I am sure she is very appreciative of it.The only thing I can suggest is to mention it to your daughter, IF his name is on there and yours isn't. Otherwise, I would say you are going to have to let it go.I am sorry that you are having to go through this. Your daughters wedding is supposed to be a joyous occassion for all of you.My husbands father is remarried and his mom has been married twice since they got divorced many years ago. What we decided to do was just list our names "Lacey and Jeff together with their parents invite you..." And then we made a "Special Thank You" framed sign at one of the display tables to our parents for helping us...specifically listing certain things they did along the way to help us out without listing the exact monetary stuff they gave us so the other parents weren't upset. This worked out really really well and everyone at the wedding really liked the framed sign we made, so did our parents.
