| well firstly i just started a night photography course and noticed a girl in the class kept looking at me she was kinda cute so i started talking to her for a bit she seemed really cool, later on we spoke some more and it turned out she was 16, and i am 21, if any thing were to happen is this to young? i dont normaly date younger girls~im australian In Queensland, the legal age of consent for anal intercourse is 18 (regardless of gender), while for vaginal intercourse it is 16. |

| I dont think there is a problem here!So long as she defiently is 16!Other wise if shes youger you would get put on sex offenders list if she went to the police.... make sure shes 16 |

| She's a minor your an adult you should no better.... ever heard of statutory rape! Why ask the question and then try to defend yourself with age of consent ....you know she is to young! |

| There's a big difference in maturity at this juncture. If say, you were 30 and she were 25, the differences wouldn't matter so much. But there's such a difference in development and life experience at this point that it may not be a good idea. Also, depending on what state you're in, it may even be illegal. |
