You're serving tater salad at your wedding? I wish you had told me sooner! But seriously, chicken wings, shrimp cocktail (I know you mentioned a budget, but you can get them fairly reasonable now) Tortilla chips and salsa or guacamole, chicken fingers, macaroni or pasta salad, Caesar salad.Good luck!

A crockput full of little homemade swedish meatballs, homemade mac n cheese, some small cherry cheesecake tarts ( romantic ) a couple of pretty fruited jello salads?I actually went to a wedding once that had a potluck picnic reception! Sandwiches drinks and ice were provided and the guests were invited to bring whatever they wanted to. We all knew the couple was on a budget and were happy to help. It all seemed to work out great. The wedding and the reception were both held at the same outdoor location with one of those large tents. I dont know if that would work for everyone, but I thought it was very nice.Another young couple we knew served hot stew and hot homemade bread at their reception! It was soo delicious! I am sure your wedding will be absolutely sweet and memorable - all the best!
