| I have met with the lawyer but it will take some time for the divorce to be final. When can I take the rings off? It isn't because I am wanting to appear "available" as I will probably never trust another man ever again in my life. I just want to feel free. Should I wait until the divorce is final? I don't want to anger my husband and he is the jealous/controlling type.You people on Yahoo are so awesome! It made me think about why I'm afraid and it is because of his irrational jealousy, but also because I want this to go through fast and if he gets made he might try to delay the divorce. I love hearing your empowering words. Thanks to every one of you. I feel nothing for him. He has cheated on me for over 20 years with prostitutes, gay prostitutes and transvestives. And that's not even all of it. I can't wait to be free of this mess. It took me a long time to have the courage to do this. |

| I took mine off the day we seperated. If you allow him he will continue trying rule you life. Take them off now it's done. Why wait for a Judge to say so --- it is what it is. |

| when ever you feel like it, but I would keep them on for a bit if you don't want lots of men thinking you were available. Sometimes when I go out with my friends I wear one just to avoid getting hit on, since I am in a committed relationship, I can bypass the explaining. |

| Take those b***** off now! Right now! Just slide them off and put them in a box. Stash them in a drawer and walk away. SCREAM FREEDOM!!!!! You do not have to wait for a divorce to be final to take your rings off. I take mine off from time to time just so my finger can breathe a bit! Or if I'm doing something really gross like planting or something where my fingers would get dirty.. esp my ring!Just take it off! You'll feel so much better!Why do you care about angering your husband? You filed for divorce. Who cares if he is angry? Unless he's a physical threat to you, let him get mad! |

| You can take your rings off any time that you want to. It is none of your soon to be ex husbands business. Afterall, you are going through a divorce. I took mine off even before we had filed for the divorce and pawned mine. |

| Take it off and dont' worry about what your husband thinks. You two are separating or planning something so you should tell him you wont' wear a ring if you feel the relationship is over because of what it signifys just do it when your ready and dont' worry about what he thinks. If you do you are letting him control you. |
