| So I used to fantasize about this big fairytale wedding- planning it on the other hand has become nothing less than ludicrous. Our families are driving us up the wall, we're busy enough with work and school, I don't think it's worth the stress. So we've been seriously considering eloping...Does anyone have any places to get hitched in mind? I want to incorperate our honeymoon as well and we're on a rather tight budget. I would love to hear anyone's ideas!? Thanks!We live in Boise, ID and I would maybe like the Oregon coast or somewhere in Canada would be nice! We don't want to have to go too far away. |

| Maybe you can go on a cruise for a week, there you can get married and have your honeymoon at the same time. And the guest on the cruise can be your witness. Have fun don't let the stress of planning a wedding ruin your day. |

| well how tight of a budget? - Vegas and then head out to the Grand Canyon (i've seen picctures and it its BEAUTIFUL)- go to California - San Diego is nice =)- cruises are your best deal - all inclusive and they are awesome - you won't have to worry about entertainment or food |

| Mackinac Island is a great place to elope to. It's located in Lake Huron & is part of Michigan. It's only 50 minutes away from Canada. The island is the most romantic place and it's beautiful. Everyone gets around by horse-drawn carriage, bicycle, or foot. No vehicles are allowed on the island. There is a lot to do there and there are many beautiful places to have a wedding. You could always wed there & then stay for your honeymoon. |
