| Besides the obvious flag of truce....which group of people use the white flag? The reason I ask is our neighbors have a plain white flag flying at the hightest point of their house, the chimney. Every now and then they have gatherings or parties where drums will be played all day long and there will be singing. Most everyone who attends wears white and they typically wear tall white hats. When they have these gatherings/parties our streets are filled with very expensive cars of their guests. The first few times this has occured we all pretty much associated it with a wedding of some sort but aren't quite sure since we never see gifts and such. Since they do not associate with anyone in the neighborhood we don't know for sure.Does anyone have a clue as to who these people are and what goes on at these parties?I need to clarify... by white clothes I mean just that. White pants, shirts and such. Tall white hats are not pointy like the KKK and guessing by the people going in and out there is no way they are apart of the KKK. |
