| Truthfully i've seen that people choose to have different orders. I've heard that the flowergirl and ringbearer go then bridesmaids then bride. Then again some people do bridesmaid first them flowergirl and rinbearer. Some people have their mothers first then go down the line... Me personally i will have my bridesmaids then MOH then flowergirl and ring bearer followed by Me with my mom walking me down the isle. |

| Usually the mother of the groom is seated first, then the mother of the bride, provided she is not also going to accompany the bride with her father. Thereafter, your attendants in the order that are furthest in line to the bride...the flower girl and ring bearer, the maid-of-honor and then ta da...the bride. That is generally how I've seen it, but really it's whatever YOU want. Good Luck and God Bless you in your upcoming wedding. |

| You've recieved some great answers, but let me give you a bigger picture.Before the processional you may choose to have a prelude, this is a song in which you can choose to seat special family members as well as the mother of the groom and bride. During the prelude, special family members are seated first, then the mother of the groom, and last the mother of the bride.For the processional first your bridesmaids, in any order you choose, (junior bridesmaids 1st if you have any) then your maid of honor and finally the flower girl and or ring bearer. Typically the flower girl goes right before the bride to spread flower petals that only the bride will walk on.Now a days most people do not use real flower petals, so you may choose to put the flower girl and ring bearer in a different place for convenience sake. I know with little children if their mommy is also a bridesmaid it may help if they follow directly after their mommy etc.So you do have some creative license to decide who walks when, although the maid of honor is the last of the adults before your grand entrance!You can also choose to have 1 song for the bridesmaids/maid of honor and a different song for yourself it's up to you!I hope I haven't given you too much info!Good luck!!! |

| I agree with Reba but many people do choose to do it differently. Parents of the groomMother of the bridebridesmaidsmaid of honor flower girl and ring bearerbrideTHe flower girl throws the petals for the bride to walk on, not everyone else. But like I said people can choose to do as they wish but this is the traditional way. A lot of people put the bridesmaids in order of height some do it by the closeness to the bride. If you do it heightwise the shortest bridesmaid will walk first followed by the rest in order by height. I think people do height for asthetics. |
