Help me find a wedding favor for my guests! I was considering candy bars (we would buy them in bulk and then get our own labels)or pens...or whatever idea you can come up withOur colors are red, black, and ivory. Not really a theme, just classy. Our family doesn't drink alot so wine bottle stoppers would be out! Thanks!our budget is between 100 and 200 dollars for 100 guests |

What about getting specialty m&ms in your colors with special messages on them, and tying a mix of colors in netting.

I'm doing pretzels, the long skinny kind and dipping one end in white chocolate and the other end in milk chocolate. then I might drizzle some pink chocolate on them too. Then the centers won't be dipped so I can tie a ribbon there. I'll put two together and tie a bow then put a little tag on them with our name and date or something like that. It's totally beautiful and inexpensive.

Definitely do something edible so your money isn't wasted. The chocolate bars sound good. You could also do Hershey's hugs and kisses wrapped in tulle with tags that say Hugs and Kisses from the new Mr. and Mrs. Chewing gum in personalized wrappers similar to the chocolate bars. If there is anyone else like me I like to have chewing gum after dinner. Minty and cleanses the mouth. THe pens are a good idea to. People can always use a pen. I do think edible is best though. Individually wrapped iced sugar cookies. Those can be personalized too if you like. Or think of something you and your fiancee like to do together. My fiancee and I play cards a lot. So I was planning on buying decks of cards for our favors. Symbolizes something we like to do that would probably get used. Most everyone I know plays cards. If you decide on something that isn't edible just make sure everyone can use it. All those little trinkets people buy for favors eventually get tossed. THey are not worth it. If you don't come up with something you really like, don't even bother with the favor. It is not necessary to have them.BTW I love your colors, LOL, mine are red black and white!Good Luck Hope I was some kind of help.

One of the best favors I ever received was a box with one sugar cookie in it with the couple's monogram. You can't beat a cookie.

Anything edible is usually good. Maybe try to get something a little more upgraded...instead of huge hershey's bars, go for lindt chocolate...or something like that.Pens are kind of cool too...I always need pens. Maybe you can have the pens out by the guestbook for when they sign it and just have a sign that says "yours to keep" or something.

I thought my niece had a great idea for her wedding favors. She bought small flower pots and put flower seeds in them in dirt and wrapped them up and tied the tops with a ribbon and a note attached that said " as these seeds grow, so will our love" I thought that was very unusual from the normal wedding favors I had recieved over the years. Most people give bottles of bubbles but I liked the flower seeds idea. My daughter gave small pots of impatients to her shower guests and it's been over a year and a half and my flower has out grown the small pot it came in to a large pot and it blooms all the time. Just an idea. I don't like the something edible idea. You eat it and it's gone but that doesn't happen with flowers and you did say your fiance was bringing you flowers to your shower to surprise you. It's a nice gift for a wedding favor as well and what a surprise. You could use flower seeds that produce red and ivory flowers. Impatients are a good choice, they come in many colors.
