Sheerly just my opinions...but they take away from elegance. If you're having a back yard BBQ-- or a very casual wedding--go for it! If not, stay away!If you want to do balloons do it at your Shower!

You have to be careful with this. I went to a wedding and at the reception there were balloons at every table. No one could see a thing when it came time for speeches and we couldn't even see those across the table let alone at tables next to us. If you're going to do this make sure you get opinions from others helping with the event to make sure it looks right and people will be able to see. It's very difficult to make balloons work at a wedding.

I am going to have to say no to the balloons. You might be able to pull it off and not have a prom feel, but I would just save the money for something else.

Some people like it...personally I hate balloons at a wedding. It's not a birthday party and this is not prom. Unless there is something special in your realtionship that makes balloons meaningful there are plenty of other options that are just as affordable but won't look as cheap.

I think they are cute when made as an arch or over a certain part of the reception. However, I wouldn't choose to use them because it never fails kids, or grown ups who want to be kids insist on busting them and that would annoy me to no end!!

Indoors -- VERY tacky -- Indoor balloons are only acceptable as a cheap-cop-out for birthdays and parties in which the host doesn't want to go all out on flowers.Outdoors -- Depends -- It can be a beautiful thing if you have pearlized wedding balloons with at least one balloon in the bunch personalized (i.e. Max & Amy, Forever in love, 10.25.08)Almost every outdoor wedding I solely planned had beautiful and elegant balloons, with the exception of weddings in which some guests were allergic to latex.two of my customers once asked me to include an arch made of balloons and to scatter some around, I did, and it looked tacky, no matter which type of balloon i used, pearly, mettallic, lace-ridden, it just didn't work. But if your wedding is outdoors, it would be very chiq to glue on some bows or strands of pearls, and make sure you still have flowers so that it doesnt look like the balloons are a cheap cop-out.
