I think it could be done tastefully. You should just be very selective about the type of balloons and amount. Too many balloons screams "5 year old's birthday party."

I think balloons are more "party", if you want balloons then get really elegant ones. I dont see too many balloons at weddings though. if it expresses your personality though, go for it! its your wedding, not everyone elses.

If they are metallic or pearlized. Also, stick to one or two colors. It would not be tacky-- as look as you keep it formal.

I haven't seen balloons at any weddings since the mid80s honestly. I personally think they are more appropriate for birthday parties or grand openings, etc.

depends on how you use them, maybe just a few for a arch. but with all the different flower decorations they have and lighting they use, like candles it may not be so safe. but it wouldn't hurt to check them out so you can see pics of what they can do with the baloons .

No..not really if you get the good thick kind that wont pop and have them high enough so kids wont stick them or try to put them in thier mouths. and definately do not release them afterwards because birds and sea animals will swallow them

Yeah, I like the idea or the pearl colors as well... no bright colors... period... (Ex. no red, no blue, etc.) think... gold, silver, pearl white... congrats and good luck!

I think selectively placed balloons can look beautiful. They create archways with them - in your wedding colors that would look great!Tying them onto the back of every chair would make it too birthday-party like.

If you like Balloons, then you should have them at your wedding if you don't then you shoulden't. If you don't over do it then it wont be tacky...

There are so many, better, decorating choices you could make than balloons. Balloons say I gave up and didn't have a better idea how to decorate. I am a big fan of draping fabric everywhere and you can normally find good stuff for 1 or 2 bucks a yard. Similar cost to getting balloons
